BioI'm an idiot in general. I mean, most of the world is too, I'm not in bad company. I'm not known for depth of thought, particularly insightful commentary, or awareness of current events.
I'm just me. And this journal reflects that. It's mostly a repository of what I've been thinking that day/week/month/etc so I can clear my head and feel better. Fortunately, I've got friends who think that I am potentially interesting, so I'll try to meet their expectations.
Biologically - Asian American male of Chinese and Japanese descent, of the specific Taiwanese-Chinese variety if you're one of the people who cares about that. I'm old enough to drink legally, tall enough that I don't have much trouble looking at objects, and heavy enough that it causes me concern and makes me vow to exercise more every week.
According to Cass' model for Sexual Identity Formation, I'm probably in the Identity Comparison stage. I like looking at people in general and I haven't quite figured out who I would be most happy with. If it matters to you, I do prefer looking at women. Maybe I'll just take the stereotype definition and say that I'm just trying to figure out which I like better.
Recent graduate from the University of California, Irvine in the school of Humanities, Global Cultures. Naturally, my current occupation has nothing to do with my major. Currently employed at the Pippin Commons of the University of California, Irvine as the sole catering assistant in the catering department.
By nature, I'm fairly private but I'm using the Livejournal to put things down and straighten out my head, as I said before. Logic would state that I shouldn't put anything on the internet, but I'll deal with that later. I prefer indoor activities, mental exercises over the physical (although physical activities can be interesting as well), and can't imagine life without a high speed internet connection, a decent computer, and some form of video games.
When I can be coaxed out, or when I'm on campus, I really enjoy watching the people go by. I wonder why that guy is muttering to himself, try to guess what textbook that girl is reading while crossing the street, and what exactly the religious extremists are up to. Maybe my brain is trying to make up for the constant feed of information from the internet that prevents me from trying to imagine things at home :P
